One of the leading educational institutions in Metro Manila is planning to expand into Davao City.
Mapua Institute of Technology, one of the largest engineering schools in the Philippines, is now eyeing Davao City as its next home. The announcement was made by the Yuchengo-owned House of Investments (HI), saying that they have recently acquired a 2.3-hectare lot for P425 million. “This marks the group’s continued commitment to expand in the education sector,” according to HI.
The purchase was made under the name of Malayan Colleges Inc., which is attached to Mapua.
