Davao Opens New Year 2014 with Guinness World Record

Davao City welcomed the New Year not with firecrackers but with loud blasts of torotots! Check out this video from the New Year countdown at the Davao Torotot Festival.

The first Davao Torotot Festival hosted 7,568 people, successfully breaking the sound barrier the Guinness World Record for the highest number of torotot blowers in a single event. Now that’s how you celebrate a New Year!

Nothing to do with the world record but the super exaggerated “breaking the sound barrier” which obviously you could have just deleted instead you just put a line across, which is still readable 😀 I’d give you a medal for this.
