Davao City seems to be on a roll in reaping awards and distinctions! Just recently, the City received the Red Orchid Award from the Department of Health.
The city’s Anti-Smoking Task Force says this is the 4th award received by the city for the effective implementation of the anti-smoking law. Davao is the only city that has been given this award. Other recipients were municipalities.
