Workers and trainors in various fields of expertise are invited to the National TVET* Competency Assessment and Certification (NATCAC) Week. The first leg of this event will be held on March 28 to April 1 at TESDA Technology Institutions and several assessment centers set up all over the country.
Worker assessment is free of charge, and will be focused on automotive and land transportation, agri-fishery, construction, electronics, information and communications technology, metals and engineering, and tourism.
Candidates who pass the assessment will be given a National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (COC) in their chosen field of specialization.
NATCAC aims to improve the skills level of Filipino workers, and consequently elevating their readiness to compete against other foreign candidates for employment.
* TVET stands for Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
