13th Jollibee Fun Run: Beedang Takbo Para Sa Autismo

Get ready for another fun run — the 13th Jollibee Fun Run: Beedang Takbo Para Sa Autismo.

The Jollibee run on January 29, 2012, Sunday — 2 weeks after the 1st Pisay Run: Takbo, Isko, Takbo! — is for the benefit of Davao City Water District’s Adopt A Site Project and 2012 Davao Autism Conference.

Jollibee has made sure that even its fun runs are family-oriented. One interesting feature of Jollibee fun runs is the Kargaton, which has become its signature category.

In the Kargaton, a parent will run while carrying his/her child (4 years old or below). As if carrying a child is not challenging enough, the Kargaton will start from NCCC Mall to Venees Building — yes, that building after the semi-steep incline — and back. The good news is that the Kargaton is just a 3K event. =)
