DavaoBase Invades Hong Kong: Madame Tussauds at The Peak

Doing the Korean pose at The Peak in Hong Kong

On our final vacation day in Hong Kong, we decided to visit Madame Tussauds, known for its wax figures of celebrities and famous personalities worldwide. It is situated in Victoria Peak, which is the highest point of Hong Kong Island and one of the country’s most popular attractions.

From our hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, we took the Tsuen Wan Line MTR to Central Station. From there, we walked about 15 minutes to The Peak Tram Lower Terminus, where we boarded the historic Peak Tram.

Upon arriving at The Peak, we rushed to the Sky Terrace, a skyscraper that stands 428 meters above sea level. It offered a 360-view of the Hong Kong skyline. And by golly, we were so amazed!

After witnessing the grandiose view of Hong Kong from above, off we went to Madame Tussauds. We were “greeted” by the wax statue of Bruce Lee and Michelle Yeoh. And from then on, our digital camera went on full shooting mode for about 30 minutes! See some of our pictures here:
