We stopped by Tata Benito’s A Whole LATTE Love Coffee Shop when we checked out Robinsons Cybergate Davao last week. It was in the compound, along with Bangkok Wok, Mang Inasal and Rai Rai Ken.
I had White Mocha and Hubby had Caramel Machiato. We also ordered ham and cheese bread and a doughnut. They offered rice meals and pasta, but we were actually full so we had to pass. Aside from the mug being unique, I can’t really say that I was impressed with their drinks and food. The drinks were good (not outstanding, though), but the ham and cheese bread and doughnut were barely bearable.
Nevertheless, we definitely would want to visit the place again, if only for its nice, relaxing ambience. I believe that a lot of people (us included) do not really go to coffee shops for the food and drinks alone, but also for the peace that you get amidst a busy schedule. Tata Benito’s at Robinsons offers one of the best venues where you can just stop and watch other people outside as they go on with their fast and busy lives while you’re enjoying some quiet time inside.
Next time, though, we’d like to try the other items in the menu. 😉

Davao City will have its own Starbucks by next year, as projected. Let’s see how the competition heats things up. We’re so excited!
