A regional Sweet Sorghum Techno-Investment Forum is set to take place on September 26, 2008 at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City. This event is made possible through the efforts of the Philippine Agricultural Development and Commercial Corporation (PADCC) and the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Unit XI.
The forum will focus on the practices and technology involved in sweet sorghum production and its processing to bioethanol. With farmers and investors being part of the target audience, the event has been scheduled during the off-milling season of sugarcane.
