A baby sea turtle swims its way to growth in Pawikan Nesting Sanctuary, Maitum, Sarangani.

Soccskargen tourism is on a high roll! The region’s aggressive campaign for eco-tourism is paving the way for more discoveries not only in General Santos City, but also in neighboring provinces. A living proof of this is Sarangani, which is gaining ground for their prized treasures from the sea.

One of their banner tourist destinations is Pawikan Nesting Sanctuary, a natural breeding ground for sea turtles. The turtle nesting site is located in Maitum, Sarangani.
