Another one of our dreams has come to life today.

After months of fickle-minded decision making, we finally decided to change from our 2-year CRT monitor to a spankin’ new Samsung 18.5″ LCD monitor. And oh my, what a sight to behold! This particular model — Samsung 933SN — belongs to the SyncMaster series, and has a crystal frame and a wine glass pedestal.

I’m writing this post a few minutes after unpacking the unit. Installation took about 5 minutes, since it’s basically a plug-and-play monitor.

We’re so happy! The emotions that we are experiencing are pretty close to how we felt when we bought our 32″ Toshiba Regza LCD TV and our Acer Aspire 4730z laptop.
