‘Ang Babaeng Humayo’ by Lav Diaz at Cinematheque Davao

The latest masterpiece of director Lav Diaz is arriving in Davao cinemas!

Ang Babaeng Humayo” tells the story of Horacia Somorostro (Charo Santos), a woman seeking revenge after being convicted for decades for a crime she didn’t commit. The movie was awarded the Golden Lion, the top prize for films screened during the Venice Film Festival.

Catch “And Babaeng Humayo” (launched in the international market as “The Woman Who Left”) at Cinematheque Davao for only P100. Screening schedule for September 28 is as follows: 10:00am, 2:30pm, and 7:00pm.
