Energy Forum Looks into Mindanao Power Situation

Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), Department of Energy (DoE), Davao Light and Power Company (DLPC), Junior Chamber International Davao (JCI Davao) and the School of Engineering and Architecture of the Ateneo de Davao University hosted Energy Conservation Forum 2013 last Friday, December 6, 2013.

Experts and participants exchanged ideas during the Mindanao Energy Efficiency Forum

The event, which was attended by hundreds of faculty members and students from different schools, served huge chunks of relevant information and insights on the energy situation in Mindanao and energy conservation efforts that are currently being done or that should be done.

It was a very effective exchange of knowledge and information, which we hope would happen more often as we continue to face the reality of and seek permanent and efficient solutions to the power situation in Mindanao.
