Million People March Davao: Itigil Ang Kababuyan!

People of Davao joined the Million People March and staged a protest rally in Rizal Park for the abolition of the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or pork barrel. Below are some photos from the rally.

The Ateneo de Davao community — composed of its teachers, staff, students, alumni and led by University President Fr. Joel Tabora S.J. — marched from the university’s Roxas Gate to Rizal Park.

We also saw friends from the blogging community, with one of them (Perry) posing as a butcher beside the pig in the middle of the rally.

Dabawenyos from different walks of life and different age groups gathered to show we DETEST the culture of corruption in government and DEMAND reform, accountability and transparency.

  1. Pork barrel should be abolished, It’s a known fact that the corruption came mainly from that barrel. Philippines and those honest hardworking people deserved honest, unselfish government workers. People tried their best to pay taxes and remit money but the cheating pig politicians, magalit na ang matamaan. They have the nerve to spend like king or Queen with Peoples money. They act like the money belongs to them that they have no remorse for their action. They act like they deserve the money . I’m for sure if this will PB disappears the Philippines would be a better place for all the Filipino who wants to better their lives. Get rid of the pork barrel!!
