Gaisano Mall of Davao played host to Cosplay Hobby and Interest Nexus (CHAIN) last August 7, 2011. Droves of Cosplay fanatics went gaga over costumed Dabawenyos, who were all game enough to pose for photographs.
I was also very happy to see my niece Natassja enjoying with the rest of her friends at CHAIN. Here she is, dressed as a Dream of Doll character. 
Cosplay is slowly gaining a solid following here in Davao City. And who’s complaining? It’s a one-of-a-kind event that fills the need of our youth to express themselves.
