Dabawenyo Bebs Gohetia Wins Best Film Editing At 27th Star Awards for Movies

Davao City adds another feather to its cap, this time in the field of movies.

Davao editor and filmmaker Charliebebs Gohetia grabbed the award for Best Film Editing at the 27th Star Awards for Movies, held on June 21, 2011 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Hotel Manila, Pasay City. Gohetia won for the critically-acclaimed indie film Sigwa, directed by Joel Lamangan.

Gohetia has an impressive arsenal of filmography in his belt. He helmed the critical and mass favorite The Thank You Girls, and worked as editor in the films Daybreak, Tirador, and Foster Child.
