The first ever Starbucks store in Davao opened on the same day the Abreeza Mall was launched. Not surprisingly, Starbucks was immediately filled with Dabawenyos eager to taste for the first time what the famous coffee chain has to offer or for those who have tried it somewhere else before, to get another sip of its delicious coffee and other drinks.
We’ve been to Abreeza more often than we planned, but it was only on our fourth visit that we finally “saw an opening” (translation: the only time we saw the store with vacant tables).
We ordered Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato (P165) and Venti Hot White Chocolate Mocha (P165) plus Grilled Ham & Three Cheese on Italian Bread (P140). We were pleasantly surprised when we received a ‘Buy 1, Take 1’ coupon (applicable on our next visit) from the sales staff after we paid for our order. It was labeled as ‘New Store Opening promo.”
I just can’t wait for Wendy’s Burger Chain to open at Abreeza I do hope and pray they’ll come..

wow, this is awesome! My bf is from Tagum, and is so excited as we have hoped for a Starbucks in Davao for a long time! I’ll visit again from the Us sometime later this year in Davao and Tagum, so this is great. I can’t do without my Starbucks! LOL..and I got him so hooked on it, he is going up today to get his first drink! Thanks for sharing this, too.
