A Choral Celebration: Concert Series With Philippine Madrigal Singers

Music lovers and choir aficionados are invited to A Choral Celebration, a rare concert series of Philippines’ world class choirs and master conductors.

This unique musical masterpiece will play nightly from November 11 to 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM, and will be held at the Brokenshire Resort & Convention Center. Here are the details of the four-day concert series:

November 11, Thursday
The Himig Singers (Alvin Aviola, conductor)
University of Mindanao Chorale (Peter Buaya, conductor)
P300 per ticket

November 12, Friday
The University of the Philippines Singing Ambassadors (Ed Manguiat, conductor)
P300 per ticket

November 13, Saturday
Koro Ilustrado (Edmund & Anna Piquero, conductors)
The Chamber Choir of Asia (Jonathan Velasco, artistic director)
P300 per ticket

November 14, Sunday
The Philippine Madrigal Singers (Mark Anthony Carpio, choirmaster)
P500 per ticket

A bundle package of P1,000 is also available, in which you can watch all four shows. Tickets are available at SM City Davao Department Store and Musikademy.

The concert is part of the Philippine Choral Directors Association (PCDA) National Convention 2010, which will be held in Davao City.
