Felcris Supermarket Opens in Toril

The legendary grocery giant in Davao City has opened its newest branch: Felcris Supermarket Toril.

It just had its soft opening on May 27, 2010, so customers have to bear with the construction works and dust in the area. But it’s clearly a step in the right direction, and is surely a big boost to the bustling economy of Toril.

For Dabawenyos residing in the south part of the city, this is definitely great news!

  1. My wife and I have been to Felcris a number of times now. I was shocked to see how dirty it is inside the store. There are employees everywhere but no one is cleaning. Many items on the selves have no prices on them and the ones that do, the print is so small no one over the age of 13 will be able to read them. I also thought it was strange the men’s room door opens with the urinals at full view of anyone in the hall way.

  2. Dati suki talaga ako diyan sa felcris pero sa ginawa nila sa kakilala ko na pinakulong just because may item na nadala then naligtaan lang na e punched, ipinakulong nila agad, nawalam na ako ng gana na magpunta diyan, not only me but lahat kami na nakaalam.. ganun ba ka grabe patakaran ninyo? kulong agad, husgahan agad? grabe naman! tsk tsk tsk…

  3. One of this day, malulugi kompanya niyo,.. dahil sa ganyang patakaran niyo

  5. Wow! Can’t believe it has been over a year since I first commented on my shopping experiences at Felcris Toril. It was really frustrating shopping there this evening. I love the pharmacy as you walk in the store. The pharmacist is very intelligent, knowledgeable and friendly. Her assistant (the tall thin pretty one) is just as helpful. Other than that I hate this store. The products tend to be old. Most of the staff doesn’t speak English, stand in your way, don’t say excuse me as they push by you or don’t get out of the way of your shopping. Security follows you around the store as if your sole goal is to steal something. It is way too loud (music playing in the store). It is always dirty and the restrooms are way past dirty. Prices are often not marked or are marked so small only young people can read them. Prices of items may be different at the register then on the self. Let’s see…..I’m sure there is many other things but my head is aching from my visit there tonight. Lastly, you have to step up when going in and step down almost three feet in two steps. That was my last time shopping in this store. I noticed the Chimes location is nothing like the Toril one. Is there any Philippine laws regulating this place?
