DavaoBase Invades Cebu: Taoist Temple

We took a cab from the Magellan’s Cross to the Taoist Temple. The temple is located in Beverly Hills Subdivision in Cebu City. The ride to Taoist Temple reminds me of the road to Shrine Hills (here in Matina, Davao City), but the climb to the temple itself reminds me of Holy Week. Haha..

One of the main attractions in the temple is the Dragon Statue found along a replica of the Great Wall of China.

Situated 300 meters above sea level, the temple also offers a wonderful view of downtown Cebu.

The temple is the center of worship for Taoism, but it is open to worshipers and non-worshipers. Taking photos inside the temple is strictly prohibited. You can take photos anywhere else, though.

Hello, just wandered by. I have a Magellan website. Can’t believe the amount of information out there. Wasn’t what I was looking for, but nice site. Take care.
