Opening of Classes Moved to June 15
June 7th, 2009
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has issued a directive postponing the opening of classes in colleges and universities nationwide from June 8 to June 15, 2009.
The deferment of opening of classes serves as a precautionary measure against the spread of Influenza A(H1N1) virus in the country. Those who travelled abroad will still have enough time to submit themselves to voluntary quarantine.
Several schools have already announced postponement of opening of classes even before CHED has issued this memorandum.
